She has cut my toddler's hair twice, and both times it looked very nice. She is very friendly and does not charge too much for children.

I have lived in State College for about 5 years now and I've tried all kinds of salons around here. I travel about 15-20 minutes to get to Barb in downtown Bellefonte, and I have been SO SO SO pleased with my experience. First, I went to Barb to 'fix' highlights from a different salon that I wasn't pleased with. I knew when I walked away that I needed to continue going to Barb as my hairdresser. No more searching. She is unbelievable with color. I leave every time with my hair feeling and looking healthy. She is beyond reasonable with price, as well as, offers good conversation. You'll find a genuine friend who knows what she's doing with your hair. I leave confident and happy every time.

I had been getting my hair done in State College at one of the "top/pricey" salons, but was not pleased at how my hair felt or looked after a color treatment.
