Kolbrooks is a very relaxed veterinary clinic. They do perform surgery on site in addition to normal care, and were able to promptly acommodate an emergency visit for my cat despite not having seen her previously. The office is quite small but it's child friendly and homey feeling, and the staff are quite friendly. Appointment availability is definitely better than vet offices in state college, and their prices are more reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend them.
I wouldn't want to take my pets anywhere else. I love this office and all of the staff. Dr. Vangorder listens to all of my questions and answers them in a way that is easy to understand. I have a very nervous timid dog and he doesn't discourage her. I would recommend this place to anyone!
